The HSC started out as a clan named UKAF (United
Kushan Assault Force) way back in 2000 sometime. Then in early
2001 it changed to the name we all knew and loved as HSC (Hiigaran
Star Command).
Each member had a separate rank, or was assigned
to a certain squad. The ranks and squads are as follows, in
order from highest in command to lowest: HSC - Fleet Commander,
BGC - Battle Group Commander, AWC - Assault Wing Commander,
s - skull squad, c - cobra squad, t - tempest squad, p - phoenix
squad, f - firelance squad, d - dark, m - mantis and r - raptor.
Each squad had a leader with the tags SL (Squad Leader), and
each squad consisted of 6 squad members and a leader.
In late 2001 we ditched the ranks for a more
suited (and less newb looking) tag, NameHSC or NameHSC|E (for
Elite). The people with the less abilities to play got the
regular HSC tag, and the more able to play got the |E on the
end. A few months down the line, we changed again. This time
we swapped the E for a V (Vanguard). These tags stayed with
us until about January 2002. We then changed our tags to what
you all see now; Name|HSC. Shortly after this (late January
2002) we added another section to Hsc for our very elite,
this is known as HoH (Hand of Heaven).
A few months down the line, we and another
clan (Hg - Honor guard) decided it would be a good idea for
us to merge for the upcoming game Homeworld 2. We merged to
create HSG (Hiigara societus galactica, although there was
much debate on what the new name would actually stand for).
Sadly just a few months into this merge, there were complications
between the two sides of the clan, so the Hg side decided
to split with the Hsc to make two separate clans again.
The wars in our history
Although we hadn't been around as long as
some of the old school clans, we had our fair share of trouble.
The 666 war was our first, July 2001. The
war consisted of 5 players selected from each clan to fighter
against each other, winner of first match stays on to play
the next opponent. Gabriel won all of the 5 games, against
Darkrftr, LazyGolfer, DrDOOM, Canada and GOD. A very skilled
player in his time.
The second and last war we had, was in late
june - early July 2002 against DS(Da Smurfs). A collection
of skilled players that decided to use the tag DS for their
games with us.
Sadly the war was cut short of our victory,
due to the high level of energy people were putting into it...orally.
