The Free-Collective is an on-line gaming clan formed
in the Homeworld universe, but now spreading throughout
many games. Some of our members have been in and around
Homeworld since 1999, making us one of the longest running
clans of that genre. Formed in October 2003, Free Collective
came from two existing Homeworld Clans - Best in Britain
(BiB) and the Hiigaran Star Command (HSC). The history

We don't really have an 'ethos' or 'mission statement'
- other than we are here just for the fun of it - and
not many things are taken too seriously. We would just
rather be the drunk guys sat in the corner throwing
abuse and beer cans at passers by. To sum it up, take
a look at this.
As Free Collective continues to grow and new members
join us, we continue to spread further in to new games,
taking a little bit of our Homeworld heritage with us.
The recent launch of Homeworld2 revived the community,
and we continue to be right up the top of the leagues,
ladders and tournaments - not always winning, but at
least giving everyone else a run for their money.
